The conference theme is "The Game Changers of 2016" and will cover changes in the translation industry as it enters a period of convergence and expanding use enabled by technology. Topics will cover a range of issues: the future does not need translators, or does it?; quality and localization effectiveness; speech-to-speech translation; innovative business and pricing models; the international customer experience; what data would you like to track?; to cloud or not to cloud; and machine learning. TAUS is also introducing the Game Changer Innovation Awards for the first time at this conference.
"TAUS is the best place to stay informed about technology changes in the industry and talk with people who are innovating in this area, both from the business and the technology side," said Ito.
