DALLAS (Sept. 4, 2015) - The Translation Automation User Society (TAUS) will hold its Annual Conference on October 12-13, 2015, in San Jose at the landmark Sainte Claire Hotel. The QE Summit will be held at the eBay South Campus in Santa Clara on October 14. The TAUS events are scheduled for just before the start of LocWorld in Santa Clara. LocalizationGuy, LLC, is a TAUS Representative.

"As tools like Google Translate become more pervasive, TAUS is a critical leadership group within the translation and localization industry, helping business and commerce leaders better understand what is out there, what technology really works in various contexts, how to evaluate quality, and other key topics," said Aki Ito, LocalizationGuy President.

The Annual Conference features four sessions per day with localization experts covering topics such as how startups handle localization, closing the gap between reality and our expectations of localization technology and innovation, automatic speech translation, evaluating available machine translation tools, treating translation quality metrics as business intelligence, and more. The conference includes an Innovation Excellence Award contest.

The QE Summit is organized to discuss quality challenges in machine translation. This year's topics include crowdshaping translation quality, the KPIs of quality evaluation, benchmarking machine translation engines, and the objectives of quality evaluation.

A wide array of speakers will participate from companies such as EMC Corporation, SurveyMonkey, Intel, Microsoft, PayPal, Autodesk, VMWare, eBay, Cisco, Google, Eventbrite, R2Games, and LinkedIn.
