Industry Veteran Aki Ito Talks about the Rise of Localization Consulting at GALA Annual Conference

GALA Industry Conference Slated for March 2013 in Miami Beach

DALLAS (March 7, 2013) - Aki Ito, President of LocalizationGuy, LLC, will be a panelist at the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) annual conference this March 17-20 in Miami Beach, Florida. GALA is a leading trade organization for the localization industry. Ito, a localization industry veteran and former GALA chairman, will participate on a conference panel discussion about the rise of localization consulting services.

"As our industry matures, a trend we are seeing is more consultants advising clients on how to select the services they need to achieve the best result, whether we are talking about authoring, translation, localization or technology choices. It's been a growing part of the industry," said Ito.

The session, entitled "Invasion of the Client Snatchers," also features Terena Bell of In Every Language, Andrew Lawless of Dig-IT, and localization consultant Kathleen Diamond. Visit the GALA site for more information about the annual conference.
