Round Table Addresses Sales and Marketing Challenges for LSPs

DALLAS (June 6, 2013) - Aki Ito, LocalizationGuy LLC president and Director of International Operations for TOIN Corporation, will participate in the Localization Sales and Marketing Round Table at Localization World London, Wednesday, June 12, 14:00-17:30.

Language service providers are invited to bring their sales and marketing challenges to this panel to discuss ideas and solutions. The round table will have an open consulting platform with experts in sales, sales management, sales training, marketing and public relations. "Sales and marketing was a hot topic at Localization World in Seattle, and it's good to see we are picking it up again in London," said Ito. "Language service providers are feeling pressure to innovate, add value and incorporate new technology, but growth is inevitable with an increasingly global economy."

A native of Japan, Ito has been involved in the localization industry since 1996. His experience includes sales management, operations management, project management, Japanese language management and consulting, and translation memory tool management. He previously served on the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) board of directors in 2005-2006 and as chairman of the board in 2006. He has also served on the editorial board for MultiLingual magazine. Ito has an MBA in international marketing and a BA in international relations.
